COLONEL MAHIP CHADHA was commissioned in 1966 into The Second Battalion The Third Gorkha Rifles; one of the finest battalions in the world which had the honour of winning two Victoria Crosses in WWI.
The battalion saw action in both the World Wars returning to India after a final stint in Pakistan, and was taken over by Indian Officers at Ferozepore. Colonel Chadha retired in Jun 2000, after which he worked in various jobs till he finally retired as the President of Helios Aviation. He turned to writing after the demise of his wife Kiran in 2010.
Danish Sheikh: Danish Sheikh is a graduate from the Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad. He has served as editor of the Indian Journal of Constitutional Law and the Nalsar Student Law Review, and is currently working as a researcher at the Alternative Law Forum. He served as a Research Consultant for ORF overarching project on Intelligence Reforms. This monograph is an outcome of his report on Democratic Control of India Intelligence Agencies.
